WILDLIFE

We have conducted wildlife surveys for mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish, and insects. 

All wildlife surveys have been for listed species, including endangered threatened, sensitive, species of concern, and management indicator species.

Species have included black-footed ferret, black-tailed prairie dog, northern long-eared bat, Whooping Crane, Trumpeter Swan, Burrowing Owl, Piping Plover, Long-billed Curlew, Upland Sandpiper, Least Tern, Sprague's Pipit, Prairie Falcon, Merlin, Ferruginous Hawk, Northern Goshawk, Karner blue, Dakota skipper, regal fritillary, and dozens more. We have also surveyed for Management Indicator Species such as Sharp-tailed Grouse.
